TOPIC:

Had a long week ending with a relatively short DGR ride yesterday. This week I changed out the front wheel bearings along with some cleaning and polishing along the way. Replaced the front brake fluid and adjusted the chain. Washed waxed and prepared my attire as well. I didn't get finished until 1:15 AM Saturday morning. Got up at 5:30 AM Sunday and left the house for the hour and a half ride to ACE Cafe in Orlando. Caught some drizzle in the first 15 min, but pushed ahead and it dry the rest of the day. That is until I rode back and got about 1 minute of actual light rain around the same spot I did in the morning. Only enough to get my knees wet, no more than that. A good day in all. Averaged 80 mph on the Florida Parkway. Not a n easy ride on a naked bike. Made the bad decision to leave the action camera mounted for the ride there. At 80 mph, this results in a annoying force pushing the helmet back. Not much good for the neck. I have lots of photos to post and video which I have to edit for posting. But here is a shot I snatched from someone else on the ride. I'm the KZ900 on the left. I was even included in group of riders for shooting for a local commercial at the ACE Cafe as I was waiting for the ride start time. Not even sure for what the ad was even for, LOL.







Look at the welds on those pipes! Man has talent. A team from Tampa Triumph crafted this Turbo package.
Whole bike for that mater. I believe the gentleman told me they are thinking about offering it as a package for around $4500.
