Still uploading for another little bit so if it doesn't work try try again. This is just the first video of three. It takes fairly long to upload. Hope you enjoy.

A little out of order perhaps but the longer videos take forever. When they upload I will chronicle them in correct order.
From Montrose we headed towards Lower Wacker Drive and then on to the trip back.

Well, wife x'd out the downloading on youtube to open her page and I guess I will download the other video clip tomorrow or something. Takes forever to upload lengthy video. But at least you guys get the idea of what Chicago looks like from our little ride on LSD and Wacker Down Under.

Now with the Kenosha run, I have about 10 hours of footage to pare down to maybe 10 or 15 minutes. It may take awhile, but I'm making progress on it.

Good deal. I haven't even looked at mine yet. Not sure if it took pics on way back or not. Just have a few pics if it didn't.

Great video Lou! Enjoyed watching the ride. Did you have to cameras set up?

Thanks guys,

I just finally had time to look at Saxjonz's footage. It's excellent! Next time, I might try to combine his footage with mine.

I just wish editing didn't take so damn long. To cut down 5 hours to 20 minutes took me about 20 to 30 hours (not including the 4 hours or so to transfer the footage). Obviously, it takes 5 hours simply to review the original footage. I think it may be better to get footage on much shorter rides. :)

And, yes, in hindsight, it would be better to have someone else lead rather than the camera guys. The camera guys should run up and down the pack, but that can get hairy too.

Yes, I had two cameras. I thought it might make things easier. It makes it better, but way more difficult to edit, especially since I had to use the sound from one camera for all of the riding. That means I have to scan the footage from one camera until I find the part with the correct sound to overlay on the second camera.

Well, I'm a lot more familiar with every inch of Lake Shore Drive now.

Lou, that is what I was wondering with the double camera view point. I had noticed when you switch view points, the sound still matched. So I was thinking to myself, "Is that some kind of new synchronized two camera system that he is using?". You answered that question. Great job of editing. I think you have a new calling, ;)
