I went to the Rose Parade once in the mid 70's
My cousin lived on Colorado Blvd back then.
New years eve I partied in a tent on the Boulevard island with Van Hallen , they were still a high school band at the time.
and the next morning John Wayne rode past me on a horse and waved .
