Hodaka Days in Athena Oregon This Weekend, Anyone?

Pretty good ride on the KZ today, about 300mi. Beautiful weather throughout. We tried one road, over to a lake, its not maintained, and the paved road it joins was still snowed in. So we had to do the same gravel twice. But if you don't try how do you know?
The Forest road 19 which goes out to Cougar Dam was pretty fun. But it was mossy on the road along quite a bit of it. Beautiful though.

That would be Old Man Winter for sure, he hasn't finished yet. Its not that high even, compared to where I was in Colorado, maybe around 5K'. Lots of snow still around the passes here in Oregon, kinda a cool spring.

And out again today, 617-12 but on the Concours. We ate up a lot of ground over the weekend, nearly went dirt riding, but got the Concours out instead.

You guys ever do the coastal route (101), that would have to be absolutely beautiful...

I rode over to the 101 on Memorial Day Weekend, but only did a few miles of the 101 itself. But I've done full length of the 101 over the years in different trips in cars. My buddy did a 101 down to Frisco a few years back, on a CBX which he still has and rides. hes just got to many bikes to chose from. Yesterday he out 2 Suzuki 650 Vee's, a V Strom and a SV.
Next weekend is Hodaka days up near Pendelton,OR in Athena. A lot of us had those bikes years ago, and it looks like fun. Here is the web site: www.hodakadays.org/

Got any Favorites? I'll take some pictures and post them. One of the Guys from the Hodaka club has real nice Trails bike. he put it together, he also races Motocross with a couple of others.
I think the weak transmission is what killed the line.

The meanest one in the collection was a hot rodded 125 super combat I believe it was called .
It had a homemade expansion chamber/big mikuni and ported cylinder and jacked up suspension under it.
hell even the old ace 90s were fun,I think we might of had a couple 100s also if I can remember back that far,ah the 70s! :woohoo:

Something like this one but with "laid down" shock brackets for more ground clearance and a little shorter pipe and the famous chrome gas tank ,ah youth! :laugh:
