I never met or even knew of the guy before his accident last weekend but I knew of his work.
Anthony "Tony" Cutrano was the co-founder of the Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run and one of the founders of a memorial wall dedicated to military personnel killed in the Middle East conflicts .

Over the last 10 years I have watched the slabs go up and the memorial evolve but due to the fact that I wasn't riding I never was a part of the Freedom Run.

Anthony R. Cutrano, 52, died Sunday afternoon on route 6 a place known as Holderman Hill not far from the memorial , his legacy lives on.

RIP Brother

I never knew about that memorial. I was shocked at the number of men & women who've died in service since the Vietnam war also :(

Hey Jack, Thanks for posting this. I have stopped at this Memorial in Marseilles, IL right next to the Illinois River. It is a beautiful monument. I never knew this much about Anthony and motorcycle enthusiasts founding this monument. Let's get together and take a ride there. I would like to pay my respects to not only the soldiers who paid the ultimate price but also to honor Anthony. Prayers go out to Anthony Cutrano, his family and friends.
