I'm soo Sorry Nerdy but.. nobody wants their British/German bikes left to natures intent. Head immediately to the Brauhaus where a waterhole is appreciated, ha

Thanks for the reasonable price on the KZ900 seat slmjim - looks like you were able to sell the Z1 cover and pad. I was really tempted by the welded crankshaft but not knowing its history and not having an actual need I opted out.
My summary of the swap meet: There was modest number of KZ items available this year, seemed like more 550/650/750 parts than 900/1000 and (as always) precious little in the way of GPZ items. Seems like the 1100's especially were more popular in Europe than the US, or maybe they are still in use on Dragbikes. There was a good deal available on a J head, but not having a need I passed it up. I picked up the normal number of Kerker canisters and baffles to add to my collection; there were so many different versions made that I never know exactly which will be right for a given project beforehand. I picked up on a local-ish lead for a GPz1100 fuel tank but am still waiting to hear back from the owner. All in all I was happy with the event and expect to keep coming back as long as I've got unfinished projects.
