Besides still needing to fab a swingarm for my Z1b, my builds are done. Looking at doing something along these lines.

I figured I'd be getting bored again over winter after finishing the 750. Been back and forth for a couple of days but put a down-payment on this thing today. Picking it up in winter.
Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet - resto or resto-mod (if I do any mods they will have to be reversible).

Because of this thread, I figured I'd check out Kawasaki's website to see if anything would tempt me. The answer is surprisingly yes. I didn't realize they were making naked versions of the "small", twin Ninjas. I might eventually get tempted by a naked 400 if it's not ridiculously slow. I see guys in the city flying around on the Ninja version and they all seem to pull the muffler off or do something else to make them much louder. But then they don't seem all that fast for how much noise they make...probably slower than stock.

But what really surprised me is that Kawasaki now has a 948 cc motor and a 998 cc motor? Is that right? Seems like a little bit redundant, even though the 998 is super charged. Or are they basically the same motor and the extra displacement comes as a side effect of adding the supercharger?

Don’t know if it’s for sale and if so it’s for sure out of my budget. But WOW!

Never in my life did I ever want to own an American made motorcycle. Only exception was the XR750 Harley.

Now this bike from Indian has raised my interest some what. The FTR1200S with 123 horsepower would make a pretty neat streetbike.

Its got to have the S&S flat track pipes for sure!!!!! Wonder how it wheelies??

I am just too old anymore to ride bikes with clipons and rearsets. This bad boy would solve that problem for me!!!!! Only 15,500 bucks!!!

1986 GSXR750RG The one with the clutch that rattles!
