Now the ZRX1100 may not be directly related parts wise, but the general design, look and feel sure reminds me of riding my KZ.
Both are around 500 lbs, seating position is similar, and the feel is very similar.
Yes the 1100 has a lot more power than my 650, the handing and breaking is better, but still when I'm rolling along, I feel like I'm on a more modern KZ.
Stock seat on the ZRX is terrible. So was the stock seat I bought off ebay for my KZ.

Me, too, though find the stock seat good for 300-400 miles per day.

It's not that the ZRX seat hurt my ass, I just found myself sliding forward at each stop, making it uncomfortable.

Someone did something to my zrx seat before I bought it . Different foam or something . Definitely can ride it longer than my turbo . My gpz 550 is like riding on a 2x4 .

As far as seats are concerned any descendant of a Z1/KZ has to include a slab of 3/4 inch plywood, because that's how a Z1/KZ seat felt on my butt after about an hour.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
