Congratulations on a well-deserved win for BOTY. The whole group honestly deserved the win as all were excellent examples of their model. Will not mind looking at Dr. Gammas bike for a year when logging in but will still miss mine. I guess I will have to be happy with seeing it in the garage and soon on the road. Congrats to all!

Its a real honor to win the KzRider Bike Of The Year award this year. I really appreciate everyone who voted for my Kz1000 Superbike road racer. This award in a way makes up for me losing my lifetime hero, Dan Gurney earlier this year. That is the reason I always raced with the number 248. I could never get number 48 or number 148, so I took 248 in honor of my hero!!!

Thanks again to everyone that voted for my bike. And to all those who left great comments over the years on my thread, Better Than Nothing...The Rebirth of a Superbike as I restored my Kz1000 racer.

Congratulations on a well deserved win Dr. Gamma, yours won over a lot of other beautiful bikes. I am glad you are a member here and also that you share your knowledge with us.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.
