Another nice one!

Damn straight! I got excited when he mentioned the Iowa title, I thought there was a possibility of seeing it in the flesh. Then I saw it was in SC, probably the best for me! From the pictures anyway it looks reasonably unmolested other than the finned engine covers. It even still has the cigarette lighter!

What will it go for experts? Mike

The Z1 is over $15k with time to go higher. This one should go for high singles...
I have a couple of Z1B's restored, an '80 KZ1000LTD restored, a 1981 KZ550 restored and a 2008 KLR 650 for off road fun. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

>>>>>>> How cool is that? To find your old bike advertised for sale by accident!!!
It does give a kind of strange feeling.
I was sitting in South Haven trying to remember which bike it was and what happened to the photos when eureka! it all came back.
Few years back I owned a 29 Henderson, I sold it to a guy in Chicago, since then it has been on ebay and mecum, over $50k last time I saw it.

>>>>>>> Can you explain the speedometer? Was that original to the bike?
I have owned ten of these and they sort of blend together, I don't remember for sure but my guess is nos speedo.

I bought this same, Green in March of 1978. I cut the same stock pipes off right past the frame mount. Put a used Hog wheel from a Z1 on it Drove it that 1st summer. Then poured paint stripper on gas tank that winter! Painted it grey & black!
Everybody in my neighborhood did the same thing! And a chrome Kerker was $149 bucks in 1979. The seat was $49. This was the bike! Then 25 yrs. later a friend ended up with it. Re-painted it. It is still around.

Livin in "CheektaVegas, NY
Still have a Kaw! 76 KZ900 Pro-Street.
Went thru 25 of these in 40 yrs.

And The Old Girl, Harley 75 FLH Electra Glide,
Old faithful! Points ign. Bendix Orig. carb.
Starts everytime!

What do you guys think? Holes seem a little large/too close together. The material between the holes seems too thin. A few people are defending it saying they are the same as something like this bike's got.

83 KZ1100A (shaft)
17 Versys X 300 abs
81 kz650h1
81 kz750e2
90 Honda CBR600F (brother's)

I know I wouldn't run that disc. Looks like there's twice as many holes as there should be.

That bottom bike has Hurst Airheart discs, totally different after market disc, the HA disc has smaller holes.
