I looked at all the pics and still don't know. It appears to be a twin-turbo abomination.

WOW, I don't think I've EVER seen so many "upgrades" on what was once a nice bike in my life! If it's chrome, shiny and somewhat neat, don't settle for ONE when you can find a place to bolt on TWO!
It also appears not to run, but not to fear, it comes complete with a tilt trailer so that you won't miss any of those motorcycle events. " Note bike needs wiring & tuning to complete). Easy for "SOMEONE WITH SKILLS"

You can just haul it all over, and put your stupidity on display for the whole world to see.
It not only needs an owner with skills, an owner with a brain might help too. This dumpster fire is the kind of stuff our little group tries to steer people away from doing.

I always find it amazing that some folks will spend so much time, energy, and money screwing up a bike and then they will try to sell it after they realize they have made a piece of crap. Ed

Amen. Here in NYC everyone wants me to chop up my bikes and make them cafe racers, etc, and I refuse. Its hilarious to see ppl ask for thousands for bikes that are pretty much frankenstein junk.

Like this guy. Hes been trying to sell this bike for almost a year. I almost bought it until ppl here in the forum pointed out all the hacking that was done. And he wants $k4k for it:

Nope, different idiot, same drugs! LOL I originally posted the dragster abortion because of the front end and kaw parts he is selling. He is local to me, (o'fallon MO) and has been advertising old kaw parts on Cl for several years, like a Kz1000 stator cover that he advertised as a clutch cover.. I have swapped a few emails with him, but never met him. He claims to be an old school kaw drag racer that has moved on, and selling off all of his "spares". I have seen a few things I wouldn't mind getting from him, but then again he is a little too proud of his parts pile.

I was searching the STL CL today since it's ~15*F here and snowing. I found this 1975 H1 F Mach III 500 cc wheelie machine. Running with 8K miles on it. (my cousin bought one of these new) He wants you to change the subject to "widow maker" when you reply to the ad. lol A REAL collector bike.

The seller cracks me up! He states "Showroom condition" and then gives a long list of non-stock stuff that he put on the bike including wheels, brakes, exhaust, carbs, etc., etc. I'm not saying the bike is not nice because it is a nice bike, but I find it strange that the seller felt compelled to say it was in showroom condition when it has been modified far from showroom condition. Check out the return line on the oil cooler. Why would you pull oil from the main oil feed that goes to the head, and then after the oil cooler dump it into the spinning clutch. Why would you divert some of the oil flow to the head?? The top end is the part of the KZ motor that needs the most oil.

All that fancy chassis goodies, and a STOCK motor!!!!!!

Plus them funky wave front brake rotors!!! God I hate them things with a passion!!!!

I agree! All that work and money, then >no air cleaner< , and in effect >no oil pressure< , since his oil cooler "upgrade" dumps any oil pressure it might have had back into the crankcase via that >slipping clutch<. A thoroughly UPGRADED bike! LOL

Will be a total disappointment to whoever might buy it. :-(

'79 (maybe '80 model?) Kz750twin parts bike very cheap.
Crown Point, Indiana.
If the story is true, someone might get a really good deal on an almost/complete bike in pieces.

It also looks all original and an easy fix IMHO. All stock. Mentions nothing about the title, sooo as-u-ming it is not there, You can apply to the Illinois secretary of state to get the registered owners info for the abandoned vehicle process in MO. (old kaw was an IL registered bike) If it weren't so far away, I might pursue it. it definitely needs an intervention to keep it from ending up in pieces.
