Not a lot of information, looks like a newer engine, or possibly just engine covers? Kind of rare to find an old Kawasaki among all the H.D.s.

Hope he gets close to his asking price...It will help push the value of our bikes up... hopefully mine will turn out just as nice, I’m shooting for the same standard

I think yours will be closer to original. As nice as this one is described, some things were done to a different standard than original. ie: chrome spokes.
I have a couple of Z1B's restored, an '80 KZ1000LTD restored, a 1981 KZ550 restored and a 2008 KLR 650 for off road fun. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

WOW, HRM, thank you!

Funny the first thing I saw when I opened the evilbay listing was the incorrect caliper location and the EBC rotors... then I noticed the white rectifier plug missing front the relay plate.... push them prices up baby!

Nice bike, but to get that price he should correct the front forks/brakes. Ed

I completely understand the builder's attempt to get as much back as he can. I'm in the same situation with my second Z1. I didn't do it to get rich, that's for sure.

Restoring old bikes is kind of like investing in the stock market. If you want to wind up with a million...start with two!
