It's mindboggling for sure. Clueless idiots like this seem to think that because a dealer might charge $75-$100.00 per hour, that their clueless cobbling is well worth the time they spent butchering the bike. Hardrock was correct, except that there are 2 too many nines at the end of his listed price.
This idiot seemed to think that a cobbled, non-running kz440 was worth $3500.00 because of all of the "custom" cobbling he did to it.. When in reality it wasn't worth $500.00 to begin with.. And to top it off, most of the time there is no tittle to accompany all of that "custom" butchering. There is a place to list the title status in the CL ad software which is missing in the ad. (I pulled it up on the Chicago CL) This genius wanted to trade me this fine pusher for a harley I was advertising at the time. Then there are the Yamaha blaster morons that want to "trade" for a nice running street bike.. duh. Um.. yeah, as soon as my lobotomy heals. lol
