The chain could have been replaced with another size kit so you have to check it yourself. If you can't see the numbers on it try counting the links and look it up or post here.

It should be an 18" on the back and a 19" on the front. You might want to re check that

Agree! If you have an 18" tire on the front someone changed wheels on the bike, or King Kong managed to stretch an 18" tire onto a 19" rim! :woohoo: The 1982 KZ1000-J2 would have originally come with a 3.25V-19 front tire. Ed
