I've been away for a while, I enjoyed looking at this bike, very similar to friends bike, with R6 running gear, 1260 donk etc.
First Permanent ride the Z1R since Dec1977 (220,000km) as of June 2015
Second permanent bike 1989 FJ1200 dyno'd 140RWH, great bike.
Third ride is now the Frankenstein 1981 GPZ1100B1, getting new/ refurbished 83-84 motor soon
Forth my work bike FJ1200 1989 (same type as above)

Thanks Dave, I haven't left the forum, I'm working 4,000kms - on the other side of Australia for around 6 months.

Love it! 1100R is the ultimate.

But can we find a smaller owner for it? He makes it look too small !

Just the same problem here, I'm 6'4" so wanted a big bike so part of the reason for looking for the ELR being the biggest meanest zed four. My rather short mate is on tiptoes just sitting on it, looks so cool.
