I would do my bike for the voting but it´s not street legal at the moment.
I failed the technical inspection by the official homologation.
The steering lock was missing.....aaarrgh.
Its very difficult here to get a 43 year old modified bike on the road.
Germany, no speed limits on the most highways but a steering lock is a must have!!!!
Will post details later in my project bike build.
I'm honored but maybe after a paint job on the tank and bodywork, Boxes need it as well. Exhaust is too far gone, the rims too. Looks good from ten feet away, not bad for a daily rider. All riders on the road see is a blur when I pass them. WOO HOO
Your bike is a contender so I'd vote for yours.
Steve
Thanks Steve.
Steve and I work and talk behind the scene here on KZR.
When he is ready he knows how to easily reach me.
Now what about the rest of you out there in KZ Land ???????????????????
Time to step up your game and send me some pictures and information .
Shine em up and contact me .

Ok, i will do so. My bike is not the beauty at the moment, it´s more like a proof of concept bike to get it street legal first. This is my first goal.
The first technical inspection/homologation and technical report for the ZX9R parts took me 300 EURO, insane but that is the truth with the German bureaucracy.
Some preview pics of my trip to my technical inspection/homologation in Essen
EDIT: unable to up load pics, got an "Unable to get properties for the image" or
"Unable to process JPG image" error.
The engineer there is the only one with the knowledge and competences to test the frame/suspension/wheel/tires and driving abilities on HIGH SPEED = fare away from 100 mph+ !!!

Skipping ahead to September Still very hot here in Michigan
I hope the Netherlands is much cooler so our member Wiers can be riding his awesome 77 Z 1000 Hotrod and turning heads where ever he goes
Please welcome Eric Wiersma as our Sept Bike of the Month.
Eric has been a loyal Kaw fan since he saw his first Z. He took this bike and created a very nice Sanctuary style clone and I am impressed .
Enjoy His bike and tell him you admired it here on KZRider
Congratulations Eric on being our Bike of the Month

Very nice!!!!! I like how you kept the traditional Z1/KZ look in your build. Keeping the twin shocks makes that traditional look even stronger. I would be very proud of what you have built!!!
I just can't come to grips with them front brake rotors. Oh Well to each their own!!!
