Any Suzuki based on the oil cooled GSXR motor is worth looking into.
Thats the only Suzuki I would put in the same class as the early Kawasaki KZ fours.

The KZ650 was advertised to beat the other guys 750's, and it did too - right up until the other guys came out with better 750's
Used bikes are all around, so finding one you like the looks of should not be hard. And they are a bargain, considering what new bikes cost.
