I use two soft saddle bags, one that sits on the seat and a small tank bag. I like the set up because I can take them off quickly and don't have them in my way for riding around once I get some where.

The Old, shoulda, coulda, woulda??? Over the years, I had 2 sets that I tossed out?
I stripped this red bike because no one wanted it all big & ugly. Made more money stripped? Put a V/H 4-1, had a guy come from Dayton, Oh. buy it. I did not want to ebay the parts, on account of the size to ship?
Then I had a small set on this $100 76 KZ900 bike. They were white Vetter. I threw them in the garbage?
Too late now.

Just this winter I got a set of Givi hard bags (E36N, 36 liters) for my 1100 - co-worker traded his bike and had these left over so I bought them for a very decent price. They came off an SV650 so it took some fabrication to adapt the mounting hardware, but it came out alright.

These are a Monokey system, the bags can be clicked onto the rack when locked but you need a key to remove them again. The rack is attached to the upper rear shock mounts and a bracket under the rear cowl, if you know how the whole thing can be removed in 5 minutes.

I've had GIVI bags on 3 bikes and will buy some more for one of my current projects. They're not cheap but they're great especially at the end of the day when you can hit the button and carry them into your hotel room

Whats a security bag ? Can you link me? The only other option I have right now are soft bags that can mount pretty easily.. www.vikingbags.com/street-bike-saddlebags.htm I was actually thinking about trying to retrofit some leather ones... but the mounting breackets are way too hard www.vikingbags.com/honda-shadow-vt-700-m...cycle-saddlebags.htm
