I rode an H1 for several years. One overheating center cylinder was enough for me. I traded it in for a KZ and never looked back.

Would that be the work of Mr. Millyard?

...that's odd, Bill. I had a '69 and '70 500. Beat the livin' snot out of them and never had any overheating problems. Had two '72 750's and never a problem with them, either. I swear by them today. Some of the most fun I've had riding over my many years has come on 2 stroke triples.

...that 5 cylinder H1 is surly a beast. I've seen photos of several 500's and several 750's. Crazy work to pull that modification off. Must sound wild in person.

This '70 Mack III is probably my favorite. My first H1 was a red '70. :)

After that I noticed they even did a 7 cylinder. That's some crazy stuff right there. I know those two strokes will run. Used to play around on some Yamaha two strokes when I was growing up as a kid.

...I've seen the seven cylinder. That's just Crazy!

...Not sure what kind of ground clearance you'd have leaning into a turn.

...But, you'd sure have plenty of passing power! :woohoo:

...Probably wouldn't even need a side stand. Just lean it over on the cases, either side. :S

...People, we are a strange breed. :)

I have never seen anything like that in person. I can't help but agree that it must sound incredible.
I had the chance to ride a friend's 750 triple a number of times and it was a true kick and a half . I enjoyed that bike more with each ride. Up to that time I had been riding a '68 Honda CL-350 Scrambler and that triple redefined "Squirrelly" and "Fun" at the same time. A 4, 5 and 7 cylinder must be something else indeed.

Riding it in the snow was probably needed to keep 5 of the 7 cylinders cool  I'm just not sure I want to ride a 7 cylinder "triple" in the snow... I don't have sufficient testicular mass

Don't be ridiculous! It's only a flesh wound!

Rain is bad enough and I don't even won't none of that and you are talking to someone(me) who has ridden backwards on the main highway up to 90 mph(true story) 0n an old 500 -4 Honda over 30 years ago.
