you don't even know, I live on somewhat of a hill in a residential neighborhood with no tree cover so everything echoes. I went to take the garbage out and knocked a wrench off my chair and the people in the house across the road turned their lights on as though it was an emergency.

lol...Another good trick we used to do at night on a dark road.

Ride past your mates with your lights off...just before you pass them, put your center stand down enough to create a heap off sparks.

This scares the living crap out of you. :P

My dad was a Vietnam vet and he had a reunion with some buddies who served with him at the house. He didn't like to talk about it too much but I got the jist of it pretty early. But when these characters descended on the place I was in awe. These guys looked like they could still go into Hells Bar and clean house. Anyway I was working on a Yammie 500 thumper and it was all screwed up. I had been trying to get it to fire up all morning, now early afternoon all my fathers buddies were half lit. I decided to give it another try and as I turned on the ignition the loudest backfire I had ever heard was issued by the machine. As one 17 guys hit the ground. About half of them rolled into defense positions. It was right out of the movies. The only one who did not drop was my father. He calmly walked over to my bike and kicked it over. He told me no more working on bikes all weekend then he walked back to the group and told them he had taken out the hostile and he was glad he had outlawed guns for the weekend because half of them would be dead right now.

And I did split a almost new muffler in half shutting off the engine and turning it back on in a Chevelle. Expensive lesson.
Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.
