You better put down a moisture barrier first. At least 2 layers, then use whatever floor you want. Personally, I lay down some sleepers and build a raised floor. On top of moisture barrier obviously.

This is inside a shed with 6 foot walls. There won't be any raised floor unless I want to hunch over while I'm in there.
The shed is one of those pre-built jobs, designed to sit on skids on the ground if need be. At my site the shed sits on concrete block piers. I've added a little extra support to hold the weight of the bike.
When you say add a moisture barrier, you mean under the floor? Like between the shed floor and the ground?

Yes, thick plastic sheet directly on top of the ground. Otherwise, you'll be cleaning up rust And oxidation constantly.

Do you have the building anchored down really well? I'd just get a sheet of 3/4 treated, though it won't lay flat and would have to be star pattern screwed to the sub floor. Probably more permanent than what you're talking about.

I laid thick polythene on the shed floor then fixed 3/4" stirling board on top. Stirling board is like shavings of wood held together with resin and is moisture resistant. That was 6 years ago and no damp problems as yet. I also insulated the walls with loft insulation in between the stud work and hardboard over the top.
