It's 70 degrees and sunny here today and I'm chained to the desk at work. I almost rode the bike into work today which would at least mean I could take the scenic route home, but at the last minute I decided to just take the car.

Really regretting that now. Hope I get home in time to squeeze in a ride before dinner with the family.

I wish I could ride mine at the moment it was 55 when i left this morning, Guess ill have to settle for screaming my dirt bike around the parking lot this afternoon. Oh and laguna just how far away are you from Salinas. I remember hearing the cars and bikes every weekend when i lived there. And the Watsonville speedway dirt track.

Some Days? I believe that would be MOST days. Why work when you can just fool around with Hobby stuff, and ride your KZ? Oh thats right, $$$$$. Got to have that stuff.
Ride when you can, that will be this weekend for me. A bike camping three day trip. To Where??? To be decided once we hit the road.

I moved back to VA in 04 didn't get to spend enough time out west. It was hard to beat driving and riding out there. And Phil's fish market is still on my top five favorite places to eat.

Happy to see another local on the forums! VJMC does a fall motorcycle show up in Northern VA. It'd be cool to see you there.

Got home and hopped on the bike. Met a buddy with a '78 Honda CX500 and went for a short scoot down the Blue Ridge Parkway. So all in all a good day.

Blue ridge parkway, western Virginia is one of the prettiest areas of the country that I've been through. I rode from Pittsburgh down to myrtle once, and Florida once too. Both trips I got off the beaten trail a little in that area, couldn't resist. Again, not so smart on my part, let's go rip around on some back roads 300 miles from home(or any of my other cars):side:

Mine:
04 Honda rebel 250(wifes)
04 GSXR 750(bolt on galore)
98 CBR 600F3(filter, pipe, adjustable cam sprokets, dyno tune)
76 KZ900A (LTD gauge pods, crash bars, LTD(style)pipes, dyna coils and ignition, headwork and mild port cleanup by cavanaugh racing, K&N filter pods, heck I dunno.

I'm actually in Central VA. I live just a little south of Charlottesville. The Blue Ridge Parkway isn't far from me at all. Unfortunately they're doing some sort of resurfacing up there right now and parts of the Parkway are just dirt and gravel.
