I just bought my bike yesterday and don't pick it up for a week. I'm really hoping I can get it in riding shape and be part of this!! What an awesome idea.

Everyone is needed bro, the more the better. It sucks riding alone, I rode alone for a few hundred miles on my leg and it was boring. KZ900joe hooked up with me and rode a hundred miles or so and it was greatly appreciated. We need everyone for this. If your area is saturated then it will be an awesome group ride. Just saying

I'm South of Spokane and should be able to take it as far as a couple hundred miles one way, but it looks like there are plenty of us in that area. I hope the flag gets here sooner rather than later because I'll be in the process of moving next fall and there is a chance that I wont have my KZ with me for awhile
How far south of Spokane? I'm in Dayton, down by Walla Walla. Maybe we could double up on a leg if were too close?
Bill
I'm in Pullman. So fairly close ~85mi? Probably plan on a handoff from me to you unless there are more members in the area, in which we could all ride together to get enough distance? I'm willing to go further though so we could still double up for a chunk of it? If the weather is still nice I would not mind making a weekend of it and doing 600 mi or so and camping. We'll see what happens though I guess.
That sounds great! I guess it all will depend on the time of year and what the weather will hold. I figured on meeting up with Gary in John Day, Oregon, and heading at least as far as Bend?

sounds good to me as well, hope the banner gets here before there is snow in the mountain passes between here and Bend...

No this ^ is the link to the general thread.
The link on the splash page for the relay ride that should be going to the midwest segment ('3rd segment WI to TX) actually dumps you into the northwest segment thread (this thread).
I couldn't find a link to the midwest segment. As I'm currently in Iowa with an eventual return back to Albuquerque with an undecided departure date, this is fail.
Linkfail! eh heh
I honestly don't know how fast I was going, officer; My speedo tops out at 85...

I could meet you in Bend, weather permitting. Where to go from there?
I live near Portland, Oregon and my rider is a '76 KZ900 I bought new. I'm also in the process of restoring another one and a '73 Z1.
