After 2 false starts, I'm on my way again. I've held the flag waaaaay too long. But I've been kept busy waiting for the rain to let up. I've been building an ark. ;)
I'm leaving shortly for a slab ride to the Twin Cities, where I'll stop at Moneypits' hacienda and then on to ND ,SD and NE to deliver the flag to goodfastncheap near Omaha Friday morning and then back home. It's about 1400 miles round trip. Will take pics and report back at the Mississippi River.

I should have put the ark on trailer and brought it along. I ran into a gully washer only 200 miles from home. Heavy rain, high winds and a little hail. Holed up in a motel. Gonna be a long ride tomorrow.

Sitting in the bar at Los Amigos in Elk Point SD. drinking bourbon, 11 hrs in the saddle, 559 miles, 4 states covered. Scratch off WI, MN, ND, SD. Meeting goodfastncheap tomorrow am to turn over the flag. Pics later if I can figure out how to post 'em.
