You guys might be right about the model thing. I keep looking at those brake rotors thinking something is off. They're too perfectly smooth...like never been used.

I believe the race bikes used Morris wheels, which Enkei then copied and Kawasaki installed on the stock bikes starting with some 76 models.

Thanks to those with better eyesight than me pointing out that this a model - thought something was a little off on this bike. Pops used to gut the 4-4 pipes for the earliest of Open Production / Superbike but the pipes were bent higher and in closer to the bike for clearance and the paint job is very close but not exactly like one Yosh Z1 I saw & remember. Various riders had a go - Cooley,my fellow Canuck Yvon Duhamel,Steve McLauglin and that's Keith Code on the Yosh catalogue cover. The original Yosh superbikes were stock displacement 903 but they also had 944 and 1001cc. offerings. I had a set of 1001cc. pistons with Road & Track cams in a 75 Z1 and later on we used to buy used 1024cc.Yosh 2 ring slipper pistons from the Superbike guys to run in fast streetbikes.

I'll have to through the archives to see if I have any more info./Pics.
