Between Jeff and I we will have six spaces. There will be plenty of parking room.
Well, looks like I'm going if nothing comes up 'tween now and then. Booked the room and have the tickets on the way. These spaces you're talking about, are they vendor spaces or camping spaces? Don't want to intrude but, If I don't see y'all at the Inn, what would I look for at the show?

Out spaces are F,123456.These are vendor spaces located behind the demo area. If you go in the swap meet area go to the first big paved road and turn right.(at the portable johns) Jeff's area is on a corner and there will be a Z1Enterprises banner.
We will be at the motel on Thursday night. Roy

Just got in. Here is a link to the pictures.
It was a good show. Kawasaki did not go out of the way to feature Classic bikes. There were more primo vintage bikes is our area than there were in the Kawasaki display. Roy

Thanks Roy, for sharing your pictures. The photobucket slide show looked good in full screen.
Never been there, but just what I imagined.
How many people were buying??
Anyone there with big money? The guys from Japan?
Was stuff going cheap??
Or similar pricing to ebay?
How did Jeff do with his sales?
One of these days I am selling everything off all at once! Soon I hope. Including my house.
How would these have done? Have 2 other engines too.
Thanks
Marty

The vendors were selling. Several foreign buyers. There was one buyer that had a back pack full of 100 dollar bills. He was from Japan. They probably bought 50 bikes.
I met two buyers from Australia and they were buying dirt bikes. Never seen dirt bike buyers before.
I sold my Penton in 15 minutes of arriving.
Sold a set of Lester wheels for 500 bucks for a friend of mine.
I actually made more money selling my friends parts. 10% comission.
I bought two sets of early 28 carbs. Not the ones with the plug for the jets.
Also bought a Z1B speedo. Roy

Roy, great pictures... overall the event was better attended than the last couple of years. I still think the attendance is down from 3-4 years back, but there are signs people are returning to these events.
The temperatures on Thursday when we arrived were brutal - mid-high 90's with a heat index of 118F (48C). I've never experienced heat like that when needing to work. Trying to setup the canopy and booth area wasn't fun. Even the next morning the temperatures were in the 80's to start the day. Fortunately a storm came through in Friday afternoon and cooled everything down.
It's nice to meet so many of the forum members face-to-face.

Re: Mid Ohio Attendance

Just got back today. This was my first time at Mid Ohio. I agree, I thought the Kawasaki tent was only so-so! I saw nicer vintage bikes from people attending than at the tent. The swap meet was huge however I was a bit disappointed in the vendors, or lack there of. I don't think there were 10 vendors set up in the vendor area and only 3 or 4 were still there on Sunday.
I was able to pick up a few spare parts but specifically rode the KZ 1000 so I could NOT buy too much.
I tend to be an impulsive buyer at a place like this!
The racing was great. If you stuck around on Saturday afternoon for the sidecar race IN THE RAIN, it was worth it. I was at the dog leg after the back straight. During the warm up lap, I saw 1 bike do a complete 360 spin and keep going and a few riders later, the "monkey" actually slipped and fell off the sidecar, got right back in and continued on. Everyone in my area was giving all the riders a standing ovation during the cool down lap.
