Hate to cancel at this late date, but I have to.
My key won't turn in the ignition. Tried several different keys, but I can't turn it. Tumblers must be frozen. No idea how to fix this... don't want to change to lock because I'm a nut for original. I wonder if a locksmith can fix this?
Anyway, sorry I can't make it. I'll be ready for the next one.
Ride safe,
Tim

Mark,
Maybe we can meet up at that Auto Parts store where we met last time. Let me know

Tim,
Why don't you just ride the Voyager, so you can still participate?

Ditto to what Joe just said, Tim.

I'll be riding my Suzi (again) since my KZ650 is down (still), and nobody will give me (too much) flak.

Looks to be GREAT riding weather too - low to mid 70's and overcast.

Ok guys, 21.25 hours to go. Gentlemen, start your engines!!! :woohoo:

Yeah, I'm in the middle of a rear brake disc change on the Voyager. Too much maintenance, too little time.

I am still on-track to be there in the morning. My KZ1000 has been acting up this winter with fuel delivery problems, but hopefully I have sorted it out. I guess if I get there by 9, then I got it sorted. See you all there--be safe.

Had a good ride today, the weather was great but there were a LOT of cops out there, two of got tagged. Mine was faster than Joe's but I haven't been to traffic school in a while. We missed pushing anybody's bike this time he he, although Grant left the ride early with electric issues. Hope you made it home Grant. Hope Rudy had a great day with his son and Tim get that key fixed and we'll see you guys next time. This is what I was looking at two weeks ago so you guys can get your biks fixed too. I'm also adding a link to today's pix.

Like Mark said the weather was great, but the po-po were swarming everywhere like vultures over a carcass. :pinch:  Oddly enough, the amount of bike riders of all styles seemed to be minimal (see pics below).

It was a nice ride in remembrance of Paul, and hopefully we can get in a few more group rides this summer. :)

Great time! Nice meeting some fellow KZR's. Maybe next time we'll depart from a church after attending service on Sunday morning after we've donated canned food to soup kitchens, clothes to Goodwill and monetary donations to the Red Cross. Gotta top off our karma tanks before the next ride.

You guys up for a Big Bear or Idyllwild ride June 18th? It'd be nice to have a monthly ride, if we can swing it (or don't all wind up in jail).
