why cant we have our own fest/gathering? we should have 2 different locations. one near central west coast, and one central east coast.

It is a good idea and has been suggested before...but has always just sort of faded away...HOWEVER, the west coasters actually do get together for rides, breakfasts, meets, etc. Why don't all interested parties meet at the Mid-Ohio swap-meet...AMA-sponsored...July and Kawasaki is the marque of the year. I, along with a number of other regulars, will be attending.

we just need to start kz chapters in each state if not every other state. it could be done. we could have vendors, wet t shirt contests,( no craig you may not enter.) and all kinds of great people can get together. i wouldnt mind getting a florida chapter started strictly for kz's. hmmmmm...

I'm trying to start a local "Vintage Japanese MC Owners" chapter in my area. I didn't think there'd be enough KZ owners around here. We're having our first get together later this month.

There's a national VJMC organization with a chapter on the other side of my state. I love the idea of state chapters for KZriders. I wonder how many folks there are in my state (Virginia).

Edit: Just looked it up. Looks like 33 KZrider members from Virginia. Not too bad.

I am a VJMC member (have been for years). There was a VJMC 'chapter' in Houston (4th largest city in the USA) and it folded for lack of interest...all bikes here are new and there seems to be little interest in non-V Twin bikes ...period. This was reflected in the fact that the traveling Cycle World motorcycle show dropped Houston as a venue. A huge statement.

I like Stu's idea. I used the member directory to find the members in my state and PM'd them to see if there's any interest in a get together. Thanks for suggesting this Stu!
