I'm looking for a grab rail like that one for my 81 kz650csr, any idea where I can get one? When I got it it had some flat metal bars there with a sissy bar attached, which I promptly removed as soon as I got it home.

That's the stock frame grip (grab bar). The best place to look would be ebbaayy.
81-83 KZ650-CSR and 80-83 Kz750-Ltd-4 have the same one. I believe the 750CSR-Twin is the same as well.

Thanks a lot! Now, can you have a rear rack with the grab bar on as well or are there ones with racks attached? I'm not sure if I want a rear rack yet, but I figure it would be useful.

The grab bar has to be removed when attaching a luggage rack. K&G universal racks come up for sale on ebbaayy quite often.

K&G luggage rack. Emgo european bars. KZ750E muffler system refurbished by painting the cross-over section & insides.

that's a sweet ride....I want to do my takn like that too, with those swooshes.

that is really as close to brand new as a bike gets.

And I can see those wheels on my bike too.
love bikes, and anything with a engine/motor, and i love the ride way more than the destination, unless I have a passenger, then that's all that matters.

Thanks. The bike doesn't really look new.... digital photos can be deceptive & those came out pretty good. hee.

Spiffy!

I have a 1982 kz650 csr. I truly love my bike, including the mini ape-hangars. I hope mine will someday look that good.
1982 kz 650 CSR mostly stock.
