trick kicker block off from rslingshot!

okay really this is a ride report:laugh: .just got back from blasting to town on the z1r.
so what do you suppose 18/38 gearing(520 pitch chain)and a 190-55/17 rear tire equates to at 8000 rpm in top gear :woohoo: .
i'm not sure but am still skakey :evil:.i can assure that on northeast oklahoma county roads it is almost a religous experience.possibly your last one:huh: .
quite a rush.

here is the z1r still tickin.


the tires were pretty hard at first and was a little greasy feeling coming off the corners. :ohmy: FUN CITY!

actually i wanted to show some pics of the billet kickstart block off plates that rslingshot built and gave(as in free,shipping and all)to members of the kzrider forum.



since i laid my bike down last summer i still need to repaint my machined down ign. cover to match the clutch cover and polish it again,at that time rslingshots' kicker block off plate will get a nice polishing too .

man i need to brake down and spend some coin at z1enterprise
and get some new fuel tee's for my carbs and some bowl gaskets them things are nasty lookin. :X

they work good tho.28 pumpers.
the bike is runnin so good i cannot imagine what degreed cams and some big carbs would feel like.

Nice plate, I"m up in North Arkansas, if it's not a drilling rig, or water tanker, its a nice piece of torn up highway, can relate to county rd, libel to get wet and hairy at any rpm :laugh:

It's funny you posted this Leon, I saw mine on the bench the other day and kicked myself for not getting it anodized with my triples and bearing support plate. I just sent rslingshot a PM today thanking him again for the block off plate and asked for an update on his build. Crazy minds think alike eh bud? :pinch: :whistle: :evil:

Here is mine, still like the day I got it. Rslingshot was such a cool guy about it, I offered to pay for the shipping at least, and he refused :blink: You don't meet alot of folks like that much anymore, but there seems to be a large pool of them here

tri,i topped a rise and had just shifted into high gear after hitting 8000 rpm in fourth and there was a line of cars coming at me and about three back i could see a white roof and nothing else.for a split second i thought hi-po,followed by thinking "he's gonna have to earn his money" :ohmy: .i wouldn't have ran but i wouldn't have stopped until he turned around and caught me.
hitting the low seventies today we are going riding again in a bit.i'll take the camera,

I was watching the bikes go by on 66 and wishing I was on one of them.

I guess that's what you get for raising goats, huh? Cleaning pens and getting ready for babies. The weather was perfect though.

Those plates are absolutely perfect! If I had one given so generously I might just have to have it gold plated and frame it.
