Winter Reading? was created by apbling
Does anyone have or know of a place I can get some (if there are any) articles about the bikes I have? ('80 750 LTD (4 cyl) and '82 550 LTD). I always see advertisements on ebay, but I really don't need to get a hardcopy for $10+.

Thanks.

are you talking about articles on those bikes when they came out???

i buy old cycle world magazines once in a while off e-bay for 8 or under and i consider it a deal...to read the review as it came out...plus all the other bike related stuff that was happening when one of my models was released.....

to me it is worth it....it is like two starbucks or one foreign mag ect.....

yeah, when the bike came out. I would be ok paying for the magazine, but the ones I saw were one page advertisments, not the whole magazine.

Yikes! For a second there, I thought it said winter riding.

I tried it once, but the snow blowing off the car in front of me was totally blinding!

I like magazines and the net.

I've got hundreds of old (last ten or fifteen years)motorcycle mags I'd part with for just the shipping. Cycle World, Sport Bike, Rider and others. No picking or sorting just a bulk delivery.

There are a couple of articles here on the 1980 E model.

Click on the tab above - KZ Information then Filebase, click on 1980 and scroll down to find the KZ750 Cycle and Cycleguide atricles. There's some stuff also the 1980 750H1 (LTD) model but I dont think there are any true mag articles.

Thanks JR. This is what I was looking for.

KZCSI - thanks for the offer, but I really only want articles about my bikes... it just depresses me all the other Kawie bikes out there I have 0 chance of getting. :(

TEK - I tried it once on my 78 Honda 50 Z when I was about 8. It seems all fun and games, but I tell you what, you find yourself on you ass/back so fast when you hit some ice that you don't even have time to react, that ain't fun... Not sure how I made it through childhood alive and with no broken/torn/dismembered body parts! :woohoo:
