Why no GPz information or following here ? The Gpz Series from the early 80's ( 1982-1985 ) I believe were all KZ-based engines. I am a proud owner of a 1985 ZX750A3- GPz. This bike has a KZ750 engine, with a few upgrades.

There are plenty of KZR members that own both 'KZ' and first generation 'ZX' series GPz bikes....there are also other sites that specialize in early types of 'GPz' bikes, GPz1100, and GPz750 bikes. There was also a GPz550 site but I believe that it has died an ugly death.

I've got 3 ZX GPz's to go with my 2 KZ's. The air cooled GPz bikes are very close to the KZ models of earlier years. But the GPz900 was another matter all together.

I swear to God, it's like I live in a trailer of common sense, and stare out the window at a tornado of stupidity.

I used to own an '84 and an '86 Gpz 900...those were the original NINJA 900's !....They were a hoot !...liquid cooled, 4 valve heads... I think they were a completely new design. Nothing KZ-based. I have a '90 ZX-10, which is a successor to the original 900 Ninja... still have it.. & love it !

I picked up an 82 GPz750 back in June. Just got her running and on the road over the weekend. Great bike.

That's actually the same site. Click on messages tab and then on "discussion" where it is highlighted, and you will end up on the same page as my link above

I've got an 83 gpz750. The factory service manual I have for it has a picture of a gpz750 on the front and the manual is called kz750 four, service manual.
