For the money involved, these WOLOs are well worth it. Especially the first time some brain dead cellphone texting idiot tries to occupy the same space as you are on a freeway
Thats what im saying...hell i can whistle as loud as some of these old motorcycle horns...I dont use my horn very often anyway cause most of these idiots in there sound proof luxury sedans talking on their cell phones not looking where they are going wouldnt hear it anyway!
one of these babies would make em drop the phone and maybe even shit a little.
Those are girlie horns! Here are manly horns (be sure to listen to the test at the end of the link:
Manly Horns
Now if I could only figure out how to mount them on my bike
I swear ive seen Goldwings with those on em, they go well with the beer holder, surround sound system, and raccoon tail flying from the 4 foot antenna  ahhh i found it!

Really horns are of little value except if some slow speed thing like a Walmart parking lot and someone is backing out and doesn't see you. They actually are a nuisance and I'd rather they were not available to people most the time. A horn to me is the same as flipping someone off most the time. I read the various newsgroups and see the guys that say "I was riding and saw a car that was not going to stop for a stop sign as I was approaching an intersection. I laid on the horn, but they still did not stop and we had the big TBONE." Well you waste time fumbling with your thumb instead of using evasive action? idiot. Sorry, but ride to stay alive, don't use your thumb.
I disagree. My horn has saved me more than a few times when some driver changes lanes in front of me and I have no place to go. The louder the better.

Someone changes lanes in front of me, I accelerate so I'm right 2" from their door, then they go back where they belong most the time, if not I just fall back behind. No big deal either way. Don't see the need to use a horn.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Horns is for tooting at yer friend walking down the street.. snicker, but if you're going to rely on a horn I'd get the loudest damn thing I could get my paws on. Besides if your bike is so quiet that you need a horn you're probably wearing earplugs anyway, so no worries about hearing loss. :silly:
