Hey Mark sorry to hear that bud... sounds like you got away fairly clean considering the tumble you took. Since you're not mentioning the bike I assume it's the H***a. How badly is it damaged? Get well soon bud!

Damm Mark that's a big bummer. I hope the bike's not too bad. You'll heal up fine, I had three plates and 18 pins in my wrist.

Damn! I'm glad you survived well enough to tell us about your accident. I'm also glad that you're NOT in the group of riders who are so inconsiderate as to be the OTHER group.

Suppose you'll have to parse it out, it's beyond/behind me.

Can you remember enough to talk/type about your reaction as you reached for the front brake?

I'm pulling for your wrist.

Bill

I high-sided my GS450S in 1986 and I remember it like it was yesterday. An idiot in a car was at fault and luckily I was going pretty slow but man did it hurt. I picked up my bike and my bruised body and went home swearing never to ride again but fate had other ideas. My ex wife on her first day of work locked her keys in the truck and needed me to bring her the other set. That was the longest 3 miles I've ever ridden and I've been riding ever since.

Thanks for all of the support guys. :)
it happened so fast ,the front just went out like i was on ice. NO warning at all, no time to react.
i have Pirelli Corsa11's on it. it was mt Honda cbr6.
i havent gone to see the bike yet. my bud picked it up at the track and brought it to his barn. he said it seems to be just cosmetic damage. i have extra sliders on it. it has been down 3 times(once for me) on the header side, and the Hindel can is still hanging in. the new Woodcraft rearsets acted as a slider too and apparently have worn down on the end quite a bit. the reason i chose them, was because each part is replaceable separately. :)
