If the Kawasaki was 600 cc, what was the displacement of the Harleys?

if the same people/bikes won every race every week it would be a pretty damn boring sport imo anyway,kind of like the old chevy/ford thing! :laugh:
these guys race sideways down a track at 100 plus mph,and they worry about 1/2 gallon of water from a bike radiator? something wrong with that picture! :woohoo:

Harley could take a hint from NHRA PSM "rules" and let Byron Hines build a cough cough "HD" motor that would kill the competition. And then not sell them to anyone else...

750cc

He built this bike for less than $7000, compared to over 20k for a competitive HD. The engine and frame came from eBay (!) and he actually used the stock frame with FT suspension. Unreal. Go to this page and read the story, then listen to the audio clips at the bottom of the page.

OK, what am I missing here....

Liquid cool, water, maybe some anti freeze who knows... Leaks non common but could happen... In the heat of the day, would evaporate, not as slick/slippery...

HD oil leaks, very common, leaks like a stuck pig :blink: , very slippery, no evaporation or at at least not in a single day....

What's their beef... Oh wait, they lost the race I take it?
