depending on elevation you should be able to run between 11.80 to 12.20 fairly consistently with a decent running stock type bike.
I was running 12.40's every pass last time I raced. But I'm a fat bastard so if I lost 60 pounds it sould be in the 20's.

its actually cheaper for me to build the bigger motors since ive got lotsssssssssssssss....s of parts laying around. another good thing about the big motors is you dont need a major high dollar valve train and huge cams to make a really good running street motor since it doesnt have to breath to 9000 plus to make tons of power ,my biggest problem on that bike is traction! but once its rolling its like a freight train in any gear compared to my 1170-1197 motorsCool to see so many replies, in fairness the uncle on 1075 bike weighs in around 350, over-spun'er last night and thinks maybe he hurt it. I told his silly ass that a good rev-limiter may save it on one of his 2nd gear neutrals...lol. By the way Plummer, i would believe you on motor size and streetability, too pricey for a tinker'er like me !

Tryin some different suspension set-ups, carb and timing tunes, just tinkerin around.ive found i get better results running shocks versus struts if not using a bar on back, shocks set on limp setting seem to help weight transfer to rear wheel better than struts for me anyway which makes tire grab better.
