Sweet ! I have 2 uncles that have had these since about new, both are awesome examples of clean, well kept rides. One has a 1075, 410 cams, STAR port work, 29mm smoothies (i need a set by the way) and the other is bout the same motor as mine. 1075 bike has a 3 over arm, 7.50 is best yet, wheel spin has been an issue...lol. Other one has gone 7.75.

My stock engined (K&N pods, Dyna ignition,Jet kit, Star exhaust, foot shifted) '79 LTD runs 7.50's with a Dunlop Spitfire 11R @ about 20lbs. Now that's with lots of "seat time" and practice.

Edit: BTW....I weighed 165-170 doing this. I am now pushing 200.

1327 with 2" over arm and skinny little 6" slick runs a best of 6.18 without a bar on our local hillbilly track about 2 months ago,ive got a lock up clutch to install so hopefully i can concentrate more getting it down the track instead of smoking clutch trying to hold the frontend down

For some reason(beer?) I thought we were talking about stock 900/1000 times. Then Plummen pulls out his big bore street fighter. I will now quietly cower in the corner.

big inch motors are so much more fun to ride on the street than a psychotic little motor that has to spin to 9500 constantly to make things work right!
