Slightly New Direction.

I'll be the first to admit I've taken more from this site then I've been able to contribute, but I'm very grateful for the knowlege gained and will contiue to put it to good use. That being said, I've decided to take a little detour and bought a 1987 Kawasaki Contour ZG1000. Based on the Ninja but geared toward us older guys. Offers some wind protection and other creature comforts but not to high tech so it's easy to work on and water cooled to boot.

I already sold my KZ650 this weekend and the KZ1000 is on the block now. Here's the link...I'm in Denver Metro.

Keep your KZ1000...you'll miss it later. And the ZG is a good bike with a large following and a large on-line support group.

I am more then tempted, but between me and my 17 year old fight'n for space in the one car garage, the kz would end up outside and it deserves better. Kid just finished turbo'n his first car and it looks like a bomb went off in there!

Hey Sabell....try and hold out to you can get the kid off to school or whatever. I just moved my daughter down to Boulder today and gained a quarter of my garage back. Still can't get a car in, but it's getting closer!
