kz750 ltd H2 1981 new build in the UK! was created by angel_uk
hi riders
greetings from the uk! the place with no sun, no real bikers and where hardly anyone smiles!
q) does anyone own a kz750 ltd h2 1981 please?
we've now restored one and changed the bars to sr650 ones.
q2) what do they ride like? someone told me that they ride like 'a three legged camel?'
i've viewed some home videos on UTube and the bikes there seem ok for riding. my last bikes have been a suzuki sv650 & a honda 600 hornet. some plonker rear end shunted my vw and i've been laid up for a long time. i dreamt about riding every day. here i'm getting on a classic cruiser and i don't know anyone who has one and commutes on it.
please will you all give me your feedback of what i'm going to experience. my suspension has now got hagons on the rear, upgraded fork oil. new rubber, brakes. the head and swing arm bearings have all been serviced. the engine is 29 years old and looks new. it only has 6,600 miles on it!..
many thanks for your honest opinions of your kz750 ltd h2 1981.
regards
Angie

Hi Angie
Yes they are good bikes and fun to ride- fairly quick too!
I am also in the Uk and I have a couple of these bikes.
I have got a load of parts over the years, let me know if you need anything.

Hi Angie
Yes most of my spare parts have come from the USA too. I am pretty Ok for stuff at the moment, in fact I will be ebaying some items soon. as I am cluttered out.
I live In Brighton so quite a ride from Manchester, but maybe you are planning doing the ACE Cafe run?
