cheap stage 3 jet kit!!!

Be careful when you buy a jet kit. Go on their web sight and check out the modifications it is intended for. You will find out the hard way (by spending $100) that it will not do you any good if you have any other modifications besides the ones listed. You will wind up spending more money and all you will get for the initial $100 investment is four needles and they are junk anyway because they are soft and ware out extremely fast. I learned the hard way. The jet kit was a complete waste. I wound up having needles custom made and everything els in the kit is super cheep. I also HATE the DynoJet Jets. The first thing I did was to throw them away, and stayed with Mikuni jets.

After shipping Z1 was about $10 more this was free shipping! I have used Dyno jet products for years on almost everyone of my projects... I have never had any trouble with any of them they conveniently come with four sizes main jet for tunning and is easy to find for just about every year and model... So you will talk to 10 people five will tell you its bad five that its good. For me personally and professionally I use Dyno jet and will until they let me down...

I beg to differ on us being $10.00 more.

We sell the item for $95.77 - priority mail shipping is just $6 - so $101.77 versus $100.99

A massive $0.78 difference.

If you buy just the single item, you save the 78 cents. But once you buy multiple items, you are paying a hefty premium...

In short, they are adding 'free' shipping costs of $5-$6 on each item - so when you purchase multiple items, your 'free' shipping is costing you much more.

This approach turns shipping into a profit center for them. On an order of 5-6 items, they are probably making upwards of $10-$15 profit on shipping. By contrast, we charge actual cost +10% on shipping (the 10% covers cc fees, packaging materials, insurance and the like).

Still I didnt purchase 3 or 4 items I purchased one and it was (even if only .78) cheaper... I didnt realize that this site was only for those that purchase from z1 or that I had posted a thread that said dyno jet is the best, or one that said if you fill your shopping cart these guys are the cheapest, I posted a thread for the guys like myself that need something if you dont like it no problem go on about your way...

We all like honesty and variety, But you will find that around here (and most likely Most other places) loyalty goes a long way. Service is worth it's quality in gold. Jeff may not always be the cheapest (but 99 times out of 100 he is) but his service is beyond comparison for our membership and others. Z1E will go out of their way to find and get something for you when you can't get it anywhere els. So now YOU take it or leave it. I think you will find out that around here if you pick on Z1E, you might as well not even bother posting because people wont even respond in a positive fashion. The value of Z1Es service is worth more than 10% to us here. So big deal you saved 78c. That's like driving 15 miles to buy gas that is 3c cheaper. Than the gas station or service station in your neighborhood goes out of business and you have to drive that 15 miles for every tank after that. Let's see, what can I buy for 78c? A cup of office? Not hardly. Good luck with your 78c savings. I save around $50 by building my own carb kits for the EXACT application I require and not wasting my money on Dyno Jet. How do I do that you ask? by gaining knowledge. How do I gain knowledge? By having people communicate with me in a positive way (in other words, Making friends) Now I can save some real money, by knowing what to do and how to do it.

I don't have an issue with you buying from any place. I do have issue with a statement that we were $10 more expensive when we were not.

Primarily, I was trying to educate you on how it is easy to overpay when confronted with the 'free' shipping tag on parts. It's a pricing strategy that nets those companies thousands of dollars in profits. There is no free lunch - it's just a question of how the selling company covers that expense - and I guarantee you they do not lose money with their free shipping...

I think he got excited and posted that link before the calculator finished. If those guy's had some other doo-Hickey he wanted then maybe he did OK. I've to yet order from that place, got some stuff do tomorrow from your shop.
