I'm thinking about parting ways with my Z2 750. I've had her for 33 years... a bit longer than the mrs
I's not 100% stock but close, and in very good shape. You know your bike is old when they have one in the gugenheim motorcycle museum.
Since you don't see many Z2 around anywhere to compare pricing, what is it worth? Do I use the same year Z1 as a baseline price?

markerdown...don't do it!!!! Don't sell the Z2...it'll haunt you some day. Isn't this the one you brought back from Okinawa and recovered it after it was stolen, or something along those lines? You have a lot of history in that bike.
BUT, if you have to sell, the market is not in North America (as you probably suspected ) Your market is in Japan as you'll never get what the bike is worth in North America. Generally speaking, Z2's rarely reach the asking price of a comparable Z1...rephrased, a decent 1973 Z1 will generate at least US$10,000 while a Z2 will not...but you will achieve that in Japan and they'll pay shipping on top of that and let them deal with the customs issues.

Yeah, thats my Z2 I'm thinking about selling. I have a lot of history with this bike and a lot of great memories. I'm not riding much these days and she's turned into a garage queen along with the '76 KZ.
I was thinking about putting it on ebay for max exposure. Since most Americans don't know what a Z2 is, I didn't think the market would be there to generate a fair market price
