Christian... pant inseam?
Reason I ask, I have a 32" inseam... Corbin seat and using 17" rims/tire sizes... I can plant both feet firmly (flat) and comfortably on the ground while sitting on the seat....
Anyhoot, smaller rim/tire sizing, shorter shocks, seat fabbed mounting etc... and you should be able to get a somewhat safe configuration....
Edited Miss-type: Thanks Patton....

Huh.... How can it be that with a 16" rim versus 18" rim your center axle point is not dropping.... Ok, what am I missing here.... :S
I think that an OEM 16 tire has a taller sidewall which equates to roughly the same circumference as an 18 tire. Does that make any since?

clarifications.... Zx6 tires are 17"....
Point is you'll drop an inch or more in height in a rim/tire change. For us short legged sonsabitches, that's fairly significant....
Brings up a good point Patton regarding tires... From a rear perspective, some of the sport tires have a high dome on them... Another reason I chose the Michelin Road Pilot 2 series... Tire center mass not as domed....

Did you see the spoof of the movie shaft? The brother walking down the the street with those high platform and heeled shoes? They had a goldfish floating around in them?
You could buy shorter shocks or the have a thing that I bought long ago called lowering blocks. They offset the shock so that it goes back a few inches. Maybe drop the tubes in front a half inch. This lowers the ground clearance and affects the ride. I wouldn't do all of that but I would sell it and buy one that is lower to your liking.

You can ride that bike without modifying it, it just requires some practice and technique.
Best of luck,

:woohoo:Is that why Tri went to town on your posts a while back. He had secret info that you were dressed like the locals and Larry got you drunk at the Nut-Bush and you guys went bar hopping around to the different bars till you ended up at the blue oyster where everyone was wearing chaps and not much else dancing the night away.
