How about just a neck pad built into the jacket?

I also wonder about the risk of people trying to make motorcycles "safe" though. We all know that bikes are just two wheels looking for a way to kill you. With all we do to mitigate the risks, we never want to encourage people to let their guard down. Not saying don't be safe, just keep the attitude right.

Helmet laws? I think they're just right. OK is optional, and I don't see where it's a problem. I also don't see many people run around without them.

But if you think your neighbor really needs the government to tell him what you think he must do, there's a New York for that.

Just keep it off the federal level.

We are socially responsible to our neighbors and communities, to lend a hand when needed.

We are civilly and commercialy responsible to our states. (to protect citizens from fraud and provide for interstate commerce protection and Highway systems)

We are voluntarily bound together federally for the common defence.

That's it. Very simple. Stay on your side of the fence. And that means out of my yard.

Unfortunately, 95% of the population are drawn to that and he's hitting his intended audience right where and how they like it. Stupid is as stupid does.

i think hitting a wall at 170 plus had something to do with earnhardts problems but maybe its just me B)

Yup, the helmet wasn't the problem, the unrestrained head was the problem.
