Got a deal? was created by tybolt99
Guys, I may have found a deal and got exicited.
73 z1 with title. New wiring harness, valve cover gasket, new pod filters, new cover bolts on the side. It was running till 6 years ago. Timing chain felt down to the case. But motor was not running when that happened. Gas was drained out from carbs for those years. No original paint. No stock 4 in 4. Probably no stock airbox.
I would go to get it if I am not on the way back from business trip from FL. I set up the time tomorrow already.
Best part about is that it is $800 OBO.

Brought her home.
former drag bike.
He was asking 800 OBO. I offered him 600. He took it right quick. I should have offered him 500>:S He probably took it. he was happy to get 6.Now that is with clean NC title in his name.
Tank and carb are from KZ900. Side covers are attached to the frame with 200 mm bolt:ohmy: Chain oil tank is there. Swingarm is extended 3 inches. 17" in rear.Dyna-s:woohoo: Wiring is all cut up, push switch for starter, headlight switch added on bar. Rear disk break (not sure where the caliper is from??) V&H pipe.
He told me he took valve cover off to clean then link for the timing chain got loose and dropped chain. Chain is in there deep. he is not sure but he was told it is not 900cc. He rode a year or two on the road before that happened.
Emgo pods, valve cover gasket, after market wiring harness 4 new plugs and engine cover bolt set came with.
Works done are not quality work at all. Looks like just rig it up.
Not sure what I will do with her. She will sit for a while anyway.

The large drain plug allows for fast main jet changes, especially at the track.
