Ever wondered what it would be like to ride a real race bike? Read on...a little background though- Dale Starr was the US company that "took over" Yoshimura for a while in the mid-late '70's. The Yosh trademark was all over their stuff but Pops & Fujio were not a part of the deal.Of course Dale Starr are long gone and Yoshimura remains...

killer article...cept i cant click it to enlarge and read it...i scan ea. pg on my archives alone..untill i have the article in a file of single pg's...then i use the free download "VSO image resizer" to convert the whole file of pgs to 1200x1200...that way they can be individually clicked to blow up alomost to pc screen size and clicked to adavance a read through the article in magazine format....or is there some other way to enlarge your pgs...i tried to right back engineer to my systym and right click-save em to my downloads-and VSO back to 1200x1200-but they appear to be blurry now on my attempt..

killer article ..i got the new bike review for the 81-GPZ-1100 and will post it tomorrow....

CYCLE WORLD, 02/1981 vol..20 #2

This issue confused me when i was bidding because it clearly showed the article was about the "GPZ 1000"....the pictures i could see showed a 1100 but oh well...turns out it just a big goof on the editors table as far as i can tell.......

anyways there is some good info for those who own a gpz,and also for those doing mix and match engines...con rod length, wrist pin location...combustion chamber shapes and valve sizes and angles to name a few.....

i think it is a pretty in depth tech article...it also explains the influence of the KZ750 remake on the liter bikes and the brake parts they share......enjoy.....Craig
