Wall of Dumb-ass /WTF Images....

i did not tighten my front caliper bolts right...after a brake cleaning......going about 50 and slowing for a upcoming stoplight...i grabbed the front brake ,with only one bolt in the caliper....WOW,,,tried to wrap around the axle....scary stuff...really scary...rode home with rear brake only......got very lucky i was not full boogie and cranked over...

I once dropped a very SMALL screw down the throat of a Chevy 400 small block one time. I did not have a teloscoping magnet so I just knew I could get lucky and spit it out the exhaust. Two seconds is all it took to make a boat anchor

I’ve never done anything dumb. Unless you consider it dumb to disconnect the u-joint on the front of a Ford F-150 driveshaft while parked on a hill with the tranny in Park and the parking brake off. That truck dragged me down the driveway until I could kick my toolbox (may it RIP) under the front tire. There’s a good reason this ride isn’t offered at Disney World. Sorry, there's no video. :blush:

I'm sure I've done some really dumb things over the years but nothing that even comes close to the guy in this thread.

i tried blowing up a chevy 400 one time by dropping nuts/bolts down the carb,damn thing wouldnt die! did same thing withan old raggedy 250 6cyl one time,wouldnt quit! :laugh: i did put 5 rods through a 4 bolt main 350 chevy one time without even trying though! :S

anybody else remember my broken foot from dropping the 30' tall elm tree on it last summer? im reminded everytime i take the socks off! :woohoo: it was amazing how fast i thought i was gonna be totally screwed for life being a dumbass and getting in a hurry,its funny now though! :laugh:

screwed for life in a half second flat by being a dumbass and not watching what i was doing! my helper thought i lost it cuz i hopped about 10' then layed on a snow bank and started laughing! i told him if i hadnt started laughing the shock would of killed my dumb ass! :woohoo:

Here's my little addition to the DA party. So I was cutting a piece of 1/4" steel for my upper shock mount with an angle grinder. The sparks were deflecting off of my shirt like always. No big deal right. Well suddenly I noticed this strange orange light in my prehiperal vision. I guess that I had concentrated the sparks in one place for too long. The realization struck. I'M ON FIRE! Garage too crowded, and no place to stop, drop, and roll. Thankfully the shirt wasn't buttoned, so I got it off without burning my hands. My humility has been restored.
