if it's burning up just no.1 you might want check the igniton side outer crank seal it wont be carb jetting only an air leak will cause a motor to go that lean. and by the way sitting looking at it while your waiting to get the next part is bad but what's even worse is having run it then hurting something and having to wait to get every thing done in order to put it back together again. great job on the bike by the way how quick is it.

It runs consistent 5.80's and thats with a basically stock kz head with just a mild port job and a set of small 435 cams and im also a 250 pound rider. Im planning on building a different head this winter with bigger valves and 480 460 cams. I have restored a couple of KZ street bikes but this is the first dragbike ive ever built.

I love it and it looks killer, Great job dude.[/quote

Thanks man!!! this is the first time ive ever posted any pictures online of anything ive done i was kinda nervous. I noticed in your signature you have an rd 350. My dad has an rd400 Daytona that im getting ready to go through and redo for him. It has a set of DG heads and chambers. Its a real fast bike he just cant keep pistons in it. Its leaning out on No.1 and Burning a dime size hole in the piston.

I had a Daytona Special back in the early 80's. That is one bike I wish I still had. I traded it for a 1971 Dodge Demon 340 4 speed that I wraped around my neighbors VW beetle. That sucked because I was out a bad ass bike and a bad ass Mopar. Here is a pic of the RD350
That is a great looking 350!!!!
