trianglelaguna, I'd say you got the Biker part right, but to me, these are Riders.

Well lets see.. I bought my first bike in '04. It was a '78KZ650C2, running, with just under 30000 km's on er. I paid 450$, and began to make er my own. I'm a Mechanic by trade, but Bikes are new to me. I Signed up for THIS site and you all steered me in the right direction, Thanks!
I learned how to ride on the Mean streets on Vancouver with my trusty 650,and how to throw it around in the mountians. Every Week I did something to make my ride a little more...mine! Electronic ignition,K&N drop in filter, re-jet and tuning to get that Kerker to wail juuuuuust right, were just a few.:)
I don't care If your on one of Eddies old rides or some smokie 2 stroker, or a scooter, or Harley, BSA, Matshless,Norton, Bimmer etc... If its got two wheels and rolling down the road ,I'll wave evey time!!B) . And the ones who don't wave back? , THEIR the riders !!

Take care , Wear yer gear

Well, let's see how I fare:

The lower third of my belly doesn't peek out from under a tee-shirt that is two sizes too small.

I don't have a scraggly beard that hasn't been washed within the past two months and is a good demonstration of the last five meals I sat down for.

I don't wear leather everywhere nor a dew rag nor do I have matching trademarked clothing from head to toe.

I don't spend all Saturday morning washing and waxing.

I don't drive an import pickup with all sorts of trademarked logos all over it proclaiming the superiority of American made motorcycles.

I don't sit at the stoplight and wank my throttle nor do I wank the throttle on every down shift.

I don't go to rallies, poker runs, or Sturgis.

I don't go around being as obnoxious as possible toward everyone else while claiming some nonexistent "right" to do so.

Group rides sound boring.

I bought my gear for its intended function, not to look like all the other "individuals" out there.

My motorcycle has more than two cylinders.

After looking over that list it's with great sadness that I must admit that I'm not much of a biker. :(

I'm just plum krazy. I like bikes. I like to work on bikes.

I like to sit at the Court house and watch bikes.

I like to buy bikes. I like to sell bikes.

I love to fire that barn find up and just watch it going from barely running to a smooth idle.

I love to help people get thier bike running.

I love keeping up with the new bikes and see the look on thier face.

I hate to polish bikes. Roy

riders, bikers, short rides, long rides, riding alone, or in a crowd, honda- kawasaki - harley - yamaha or whatever you ride i've noticed ppl on here crying about choosing one brand over another. isn't that what your supposed to do it's what most of us have done here by picking the z line from kawasaki buying, building, hunting, and riding the orignal superbike but its not the only bike ever made. now some asses come on this forum and say all motorcycles are the same. theres your awnser to who's a biker or a rider by the way i'm enjoying all this drama between rides lol
the first time i rode a motorcycle i fell in love and it was on my dads 74 900z1 when i was a child (i was born in 74)now i have a 77'kz1000 and he rides a 07 harley but my brother couldn't handle my girlfriends honda shadow 500 and has no understanding of my addiction this year he got mad cause he couldn't drive his car down main street at bikeweek i geuss either you get it or you don't.
my name is shawn and "i'm a motorcycle addict"
