The start up sound as we crested the hill was not the usual Thump Thump, it was much sweeter. Did not get a good look but a couple of the bikes looked familiar, as in green and orange.

We have a member with a 1000P that rides with us sometimes. On a ride awhile back (Big Bear) we let him take the lead. People think he's what he is not and give us a wide berth. It's actually pretty amusing as we are "escorted" on our ride!
Does he dress up like a Cop also?...Russ

Nope,not at all. But just the sight of the "universal" police bike makes people notice a lot more. Actually helps make our rides safer except in the twistys when we leave him behind!
