Wow that's a great picture. That must be the chain flapping on the LH side? Amazing how much they loosen up under load...

I watched that guy, on that bike, lay waste to a field of Honda Interceptors in 1983. To see Wayne ride in person was to watch a master making a difficult job look easy :)

He was good wasn't he!? Made annual migration to Road America when they came to town. Watching those guys ride those bikes left me in awe.

You should have seen him passing bikes on Pocono's first turn :ohmy:

Turn one was a right horseshoe at the end of the long front straight...... Amazing...

Yea, but how does it do on the turns? :laugh:

That V-8 is crazy. There used to be one that ran at our local track and he could never get more than about 3/4 track without shutting it down. Still rans 8's with it even shutting it down so early, and this was probably 10 years ago. That thing was something to watch. Looked similar to what you have pictured there....just a giant V-8 and not much else...
